About Us

Hi! I have many years of tutoring experience with grade levels 6-12, college, and adults. Also I have helped adults pass the Math portion of the CBEST. The bad news is that many students struggle with Math. The good news is that it is my favorite subject and I love to help students understand it.

My students find me approachable and feel comfortable to ask me questions on their homework. I have lots of patience and I take my time explaining concepts. I'm happy to say that I have helped many in the past improve their grades and I plan on continuing to do so for as long as I can.

I have also been a teacher in the past. I earned my Bachelors degree from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA and my teaching credential from California State University, Los Angeles. I taught middle school and high school for 6 years. I love to teach, but I am equally passionate about tutoring. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with students on a one-on-one basis because they learn more that way.  Each student learns differently, so I try to accommodate each one individually.

I do both in-person and online tutoring. My days and hours are flexible. As far as my skills, I am bilingual in English and Armenian. I am able to speak in my native language (Armenian) but I am also very comfortable working with diverse students, which I have been doing since the beginning.
